General Overview of Rental Information
As you can see from the photos on our website, BPC is a large house. It has 7 rooms which we use as counseling offices. We rent them during the many hours of each day when they are not being used.
There are 3 small rooms on the 3rd floor, 4 medium/large offices on the 2nd floor, and a huge group meeting room on the 1st floor. All of the rooms are furnished to accommodate individual or couples therapy.
There is a handicap ramp at the back door, but no elevator up to the 2nd or 3rd floors and no bathroom on the first, so it’s not really handicap accessible.
The rental rates vary by the size of the office and the amount of time you commit to use. Two hours/week is the minimum time commitment and a 6 month contract is required. Daily rates are available at a reduced cost.
For example, the small rooms rent by the hour for $12/hr and the big rooms by the day for $225/mo (a greatly reduced hourly rate of $7/hr).
BPC provides secure wireless access, but the rooms do not have a dedicated phone line. Renters are welcome to use the kitchen facilities and the copier/fax machine.
BPC is about ½ mile from the Brookland Red Line Metro station, is on the H-6 bus route, and has free on street parking.
