Education – All the therapists at BPC have the legally required credentials and appropriate educational backgrounds.
Expertise – Does the therapist have experience with your issue? Do you need a couples therapist or an individual therapist?
Special skills – Some therapists have training in particular therapeutic techniques (hypnosis, somatic experiencing, guided imagery and music, EMDR, etc).

Self Pay – Can you afford the fee? Do you need a reduced fee?
Insurance – Do you need a preferred provider? Do you have out of network benefits (sometimes known as Point of Service or POS)?
